Crazy Creatures

It was Jess’ 13th Birthday on Monday, so her mum paid for Crazy creatures to visit us on Wednesday. The children looked at, stroked and held the following… a hissing cockroach, a fire millipede, Nitro the tortoise, Kinder the leopard gecko, Rusty the bearded dragon, Puzzle and Galaxy the Royal Pythons, and Frodo the white faced owl!

The children had a great time. The man who ran it said we were the best class / school he’d been to all week. We would like to say a big thank-you to Jessica’s mum for organising such a great experience.

Comic Relief Bacon Rolls

The “Let’s Get Cooking” group of 6 senior students cooked and prepared 60 bacon rolls for sale at 50p each in aid of Comic Relief. They were delivered to each class and were much appreciated by staff and children alike. £30 was raised!

A very special thank you goes to the Bakery Department at Tesco in Ferndown who kindly gave us all the rolls free of charge.

Early Year pupils Visit Kingston Lacey

A group of Early Year pupils visited Kingston Lacey this week when we had a lovely sunny day. We all enjoyed having the freedom to run around exploring the grounds and finding some snowdrops still out in flower!
