Youth Club

Every Wednesday, some of the Seniors go to our Youth club. We go to Ferndown to use a youth centre. We play pool, play the wii, eat food, make loom bands, chat to our friends, hang out and play games in the hall, In the past we have even had a fun photo booth session! This week we went to the Horns Inn for our Christmas meal. There’s always lots of fun to be had.

Tawny Owls visit Lulworth Class

On Friday 7th December 2018 we had a visit from Pete Whieldon and his daughter-in-law, Kate. They brought along two tawny owls, called Oakley and Wobbly. Wobbly is only 8 months old and learned to fly in our classroom last time he visited. They also had two barn owls called Dyson (about 18 months old) and Wiggy (about 5-6 years old). All four owls have visited us last year.

For the children who joined Lulworth in September it was their first encounter with the owls. Everyone had a go at stroking and holding the owls if they wanted to. We’d like to say a BIG thank-you to Pete, Kate and the owls we had a great time as always.

Post-16 TADSS Christmas Party

The students had an amazing time at the TADSS Post-16 Christmas Party. It was fantastic to see them all socialising, dancing and having fun! A great opportunity for them to just enjoy being teenagers!

Post-16 Christmas Fayre

Thanks to everyone who came along to our Christmas Fayre and well done to all the students who worked very hard to make all the arts and crafts and ran the stalls on the day.

Snakes and Geckos at Beaucroft!

Yesterday a male 1 year old Royal python called Zo and a 4 month old leopard gecko, called Gizmo visited Lulworth class. We watched some information videos about where they live and what they like to eat, before the children were allowed to handle them. To begin with some of the children were a bit nervous, but by the end of the day they all touched or held or had the reptiles on their laps
