Well done to our eight post-16 leavers who all graduated on Friday with a Diploma in Life Skills at Entry Levels. Seven students also completed their full Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award and one student passed three elements. They all had a wonderful day and will be very much missed here at Beaucroft.
Post-16 DofE Bronze expedition complete!
Well done to an amazing group of students who today returned from a two day expedition which included pitching up their tents and sleeping in a field last night. They returned very tired from the challenge but proud of their achievements. Also well done and thanks to Di Williamson and Matt Doyle – it was quite a challenge for them too!
UPDATE… here are a few photos from our week at Haven Church Farm
Post-16 are off on residential this week. We are going to Haven Church Farm which is near Chichester, West Sussex. We have lots of fun activities planned, as well as spending time developing the students’ life skills and completing work towards their diploma. Fingers crossed for nice weather!
23rd May UPDATE – Some photos of the practice expedition
13th May UPDATE… So the weather was pretty awful but the students were amazing! What a brilliant effort from them all. BIG thanks to Diane Williamson for making it happen, and our thanks to Sheila Soper for supporting us in our new adventures. Photos to follow soon.
